Mary mother of Jesus

Mother of Jesus is either mentioned by name or it is implied 23 times in the New Testament.

Luke 1:28; 1:30; 1:31; 1:34-35; 1:38; 1:42; 1:43-45 1:47; 1:48; 2:19; 2:51; 11:27. Thats fifteen times mentioned in the Gospel of Luke.

In Matthew, I counted 6 times that she is mentioned (Matthew 2:11; 1:18-25).

She is mentioned twice in the Gospel of John (John 2:5; 19:25).

She is mentioned once in the book of Mark (Mark 6:3) and once in the book of Acts (Acts 1:14).

By my count that is 23 times. Some of these verses do not refer to her by name. They will simply say His mother or her but these verses are clearly talking about Mary mother of Jesus.

Demon infestation

Infestation means to inhabit or overrun in numbers large enough to be harmful or threatening.  Demons are real (James 2:19;4:7; Job 4:15; Luke 8:2; Luke 8:30; Mark 3:11; Mark 9:29; Matthew 8:29; Matthew 12:43-45).
This seems to be a bad problem in the Catholic Church because they have incorporated many pagan practices into the Christian religion. It is especially bad in Asian countries because they have added many superstitions to it. So it is no surprise that Demonic possession is so prevalent. People's mind's are open to it the Catholic Church.
A true Christian cannot be Demon possessed because they have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them (2 Corinthians 1:22; 5:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19).

Catholic beliefs

Catechism 1793 of the Catholic Church states " if the ignorance is invincible, or the moral subject is not responsible for his erroneous judgment, the evil committed by the person cannot be imputed to him." Invincible means that ignorance cannot be overcome or conquered. This is not so. Granted all of us are ignorant about things. but if we want to find out about that thing we are no longer ignorant about it.
They have taken John 9:41 completely out of context. Back in John 9:39 it says " And Jesus said, for judgment, I am come into this world, that they who see not might see: and they which see might be made blind." This means Christ is the Light and reveals the heart. Sinners and Publicans were able to see, while the Jews and the Pharisees were not although they claimed to be enlightened, they were not, because they had closed eyes. They were not blind the way we think of being blind.  They simply refused to believe. So blinded here means those who would not see.
Romans 1:20 says there is no excuse for not believing in God. The qualities of God can be seen in creation. Micah 6:8 also talks about ignorance not being an excuse.

What Caused the Great Irish Potato Famine of 1844-1849?

Sexism

Sexism is one gender, usually male, having dominance over the other gender, usually female. The Bible contains many references to women that, to our modern mindset, sound discriminatory towards women. But we have to remember that when the Bible describes an action, it does not necessarily mean that the Bible endorses that action. The Bible describes men treating women as little more than property, but that does not mean God approves of that action. The Bible is far more focused on reforming our souls than our societies. God knows that a changed heart will result in a changed attitude.

Is religion - the opium of the masses - the most dangerous drug in the Philippines?

Is religion - the opium of the masses - the most dangerous drug in the Philippines?
When Duterte rode in on his white horse declaring “drugs are the problem”, the people jumped all over it. Just as Hitler had the Jews to blame, pointing the finger at an enemy within while the rich continue to get richer isn’t something new — it’s fascism 101.
