John 1:18

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love." - 1 John 4:18

When we experience God's love in our lives and share it with others, we do not need to fear. The future punishment that awaits those who do not believe does not concern the ""abiding"" believer. The two-way relationship of God's love in our lives gives us confidence and security. The ability to live out His love is a sign of our faith in Him, and the way for us to follow His will in order to gain eternal rewards.
Fear is associated with punishment. The believer has been fully forgiven of sins. The one who knows Christ in true fellowship lives for Him and does not need to fear future punishment. The person who experiences fear ""has not been perfected in love."" In other words, those who fear punishment don't have a complete or mature relationship with God. This certainly applies to unbelievers, but can also include believers who are not growing in Christ. It is the growing, maturing believer who can look forward to the future with joy rather than fear.

Sex

“Why would a God make sex pleasurable and part of human nature just to control and condemn it?”

Why would car makers put brakes and steering wheels in their cars and recommend that we use them? For those who can’t figure that out, it’s for our own good. If we want the pleasure of owning and driving a car, use the brakes and stay on the right side of the road.
God made the first couple naked and commanded them to have sex. That’s a little embarrassing, but it’s true. He also told us to use self-control and stay on the right side of the road. Sex is for one man and one woman, within the bounds of marriage…for the purpose of pleasure and to make more people.
If we violate the rules we will have guilt, STDs, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, superficial relationships, plus the really big negative—we will not enter the Kingdom of God (see 1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
So God doesn’t “control” or “condemn” sex. He says not to fornicate. If you don’t control your urge and fornicate, you become a fornicator and you condemn yourself to Hell.
So get saved, get married, and enjoy the glorious gift that God so graciously gave.

Judgement

There are people who want to remove the words male and female from the dictionary. The Bible says that God made us male and female. This whole thing goes back to one issue called rebellion against God and His established order. The Bible says it is appointed to man once to die and after this the judgment. God will hold us “all” accountable for how we live our lives, but God also sent us His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Through Jesus, we can receive God’s grace and forgiveness. The Bible says that “all” have sinned so unless we “all” turn to Jesus and place our faith in Him then we will not be forgiven and spend eternity in Hell. Gay, straight, homosexual, heterosexual, white or black we are all lost without Jesus and must pray to God and ask Jesus into our hearts and repent (turn) from our sins. We live in a world where Satan is trying to program our minds against God. Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us that we are in a spiritual battle. We need to open our eyes and realize Satan is our enemy and wants to turn us against God’s established order. Saying that your this or that does not excuse your sin. Creating laws to protect your rights does not excuse your sin. Man’s laws do not go above God’s rule. God will always be God and sin will always be sin no matter what we call it. God offers us forgiveness for our sins and calls us to repent and turn from our sin. We will be held accountable on judgment day and trusting Jesus as our Savior is God’s plan of forgiveness.

Battles of the Christian

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places".

This verse describes the spiritual battle that takes place in the life of believers. Paul tells us our battle is spiritual not physical.
