Wife of thy youth

Proverbs 5:18 " Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth". This means to take another look at "the wife of your youth". You loved her then, love her now. The fountain is your wife. You are of one flesh with her. The wife of your youth is the girl you married while you were young. She is the girl you couldn't wait to tell your friends about. 

Ecclesiastes 9:9 " Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labor which thou takest under the sun". Vanity means meaningless. It is our duty to love our wives, and enjoy our work. This is our portion in life. We are to make the best of it.
