I am unique

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, unique means the only one of its kind.
Psalm 139:4 in the King James Version of the Bible says "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
The New Living Translation says Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous - how well I know                                                                                                                                                                                                         The human body is made up of many systems that work together, the cardiovascular, muscular, digestive, immune, hormonal, eyes, nose, tongue and mouth, and the brain. All of these things (and more) combine to make each person who they are. Each person is unique.

Sanballat a comparison of then and now

“Sanballat the Horonite…” is the enemy we would expect. He’s from the outside. He was a pagan Moabite. He was also from the government, but he wasn’t there to help Nehemiah. The Moabites were one of the groups that God’s people ran out of the Promised Land. Moabites like Sanballat worshiped Chemosh an idol who required the sacrifice of little babies. Sanballat would have also worshipped Baal-Peor, which required all manner of sexual immorality, but above all else, homosexual acts were the primary sacrament. It shouldn’t surprise us one bit that a government official like Sanballat would oppose the building project for the glory of the One True God. Sanballat’s spiritual life was devoted to the sacrifice of babies and to sexual immorality, especially homosexuality, and God forbids all of it!
And that’s true history. But is there some relevant parallel for us to apply? Does Sanballat’s spiritual heritage of baby killing and sexual immorality have any importance for us today? I’ll leave that to be settled between you and the Holy Spirit, but I ask you: Can you think of another time and another place where God and His people are being opposed by pagan government officials who enthusiastically support the bloody sacrifice of countless little babies and are who are exalting sexual immorality – especially homosexuality – with religious zeal? Can you think of another government that, like the Sanballat administration, is trying to persecute those who follow a God who believes in the sanctity of human life and sexual purity? Any of this ringing a bell at all?

Hebrews 13:8

This verse means that God never changes. He is the beginning of things and He is the end of all things. He set every detail of life when He created this world and it will not change because God can not lie. Malachi 3:6 says " For I am the LORD, I change not; Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." Revelation 1:17-18 says "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not: I am the first and last:" " I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

The Radioactive Dogs of Chernobyl are Being Brought Back into Society

The Radioactive Dogs of Chernobyl are Being Brought Back into Society
I have watched many movies in my lifetime. Several movies have portrayed women as having anger problems. For example how many movies have you seen where the woman gets mad at her husband or boyfriend and throws something against the wall, rips up pictures of them, or chases him with a broom? There is a recent commercial showing a woman throwing things out the window and her boyfriend is on the sidewalk trying not to get hit. She even throws his guitar out the window. Have you ever seen the husband or boyfriend throw things? Do women really do things like that? Why are women portrayed this way? I can say that my wife has never got mad and threw anything. However, she has given me a few warnings such as if I know what's good for me I wouldn't do that again. Anger can be a normal mood, a hurtful mood, or both. The Bible says, "Be ye angry, and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath:". We will get angry at times, but we should try to control our anger so that we do not sin or do something that we would later regret. Well, I have a confession. A long time ago I got angry and hit a door. That didn't solve anything. I know a young guy who was chatting on Facebook and got mad and hit a block wall. No one was even around him. He broke his hand. I guess that us guys are sometimes guilty of hitting things. That doesn't solve anything either. However, we do think it fixes things that aren't working for some reason.
