Jesus was neither rich nor poor. He did not seek earthly possessions (Matthew 6: 19-21) but He did not lack the necessities of life (Matthew 6: 31-33).
This idea that Jesus lived in poverty occurred in the fourth century through misinformation and most of the incompetent monastic and ascetics who believed that poverty was a virtue and the idea persists today. The Bible does not teach that poverty or wealth is a virtue. Proverbs 30: 8-9 Agur prays for wealth or poverty. He feared that he would deny God if he prayed for riches and feared that if he lived in poverty he would steal, and take God's name in vain. Jesus was a rabbi. He should be known as a job and a livelihood. Jesus was a carpenter (Matthew 13:55; Mark 6: 3). John 4: 8 it says that the disciples went to the town to buy food. This means there is cash flow. Jesus and the twelve had money boxes to buy food and give to the poor (John 12: 13:29). They are financially supported by women who have recovered. Six to eight are mentioned in the record of the crucifixion but Luke 8: 3 says "many more" contributed. At the crucifixion, the Roman soldiers did not tear His robe, without a veil, but they cast lots for it, meaning that it was of high quality (John 19: 23-24). The Bible does not say, nor does it mean, that Jesus lived in the desert as a hermit, as was the case in those days.

Some people here have asked in the comments whether I’ve ever met a genuine filipino, like, ever. To be fair, yes, I have. BUT THEY ARE RARE! It’s like a species reaching an extinction, that’s how it is with genuine filipinos. Most of you people are just unbearable to be around with. Why? Because your way of thinking don’t belong in the 21st century. You try to act like you know it all but in reality you just don’t have the slightest idea. With that kind of mindset, it’s no wonder that your country stays that way for a long time: unproductive and poor.
