Is Filipino Parenting Style Prone to Produce Mendicants

The statistics say that close to half of all kids born are unwanted by their mothers.  Some days there is no money for food. Things like this are becoming more and more normal here in the Philippines. A sad sight but a sight seen on a daily basis here.
