For a true believer, life is not to be viewed as "black and white." For a true believer, life is colorful and filled with joyful anticipation of the great things that the Lord has prepared for us in the life to come.
Christian Life is a life that is full (John 10:10) meaning, it is a life that is filled with peace, contentment, satisfaction and joy regardless of circumstances. We are not to be limited by financial lack, persecutions, hardships and trials and even death. The life of a true believer is a life of victory for we know that nothing can separate us from the love of God just as Romans 8:38-39 says, `For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.`
While in prison, Apostle Paul wrote His epistle to the Ephesians. In the midst of pain and hardships, Paul wrote, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! . . . The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:4–8).
The life of a Christian is not black at all if viewed in the light of what the Lord has done for us and in the light of eternity. It`s all colorful, vibrant and mesmerizing. Living and walking everyday with the Lord is the most exciting journey one could ever have on earth. Only non-believers live in a `black and white` world for they have no hope of a life with God in heaven. But for all true believers, Christian life is not a `black and white life` or a boring life. It is a life filled with excitement and hope as we know that `all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose` (Romans 8:28).
