In the Vatican, the "holy" language is Latin. In the ancient Roman religion of (the pagan) Pantheon temple, the language was Latin.
The word "Catholic" means "universal." Likewise, the word "pan" means "universal" or "all-inclusive." The word "pantheon" is a compound word comprised of the word "pan" and "theon," which is a form of "theos." Theos means "god." Together, the words refer to the worship of "all god(s)."
The word "cardinal" is from the word "cardin" and "cardo," which refer to a "hinge." The priests asociated with Janus, the Latin god of the door, were sometimes called "cardinals." Today, a select group of Latin high priests commissioned by the Vatican are called "cardinals."
The pagans of ancient Rome (and elsewhere) recognized their gods as "patron" gods with jurisdictions over particular localities and powers over certain elements. Temples, altars, shrines, and statues to patron gods were used in ancient Rome and elsewhere. The Vatican has "patron" saints with their own temples, altars, shrines, and statues.
And lastly, the high priest of the ancient pagan Etruscan and later Latin priesthood was known as the "Pontifex Maximus" (or Supreme Pontiff). The high priest in the Vatican today is called the (Sumpreme) Pontiff.
The ancient Latin people dedicated days and months to their gods and the gods they adopted from other people. The current western calendar, which is a form of the Roman Catholic Church's Gregorian Calendar still contains the names of pagan gods on it. Why would a Christian, which is what Gregory said to have been, place pagan deities on a "Christian" calendar? Was he attracting pagans with this move, or continuing to show that the Latin Church was a continuation of the ancient religions they claimed to be replacing?

The existence of God

The existence of God cannot be proved or disproved. The Bible says that we must accept by faith the fact that God exists: 'And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him' (Hebrews 11:6). If God so desired, He could simply appear and prove to the whole world that He exists. But if He did that, there would be no need for faith. 'Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed'' (John 20:29).

That does not mean, however, that there is no evidence of God's existence. The Bible states, 'The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world' (Psalm 19:1-4). Looking at the stars, understanding the vastness of the universe, observing the wonders of nature, seeing the beauty of a sunset'all of these things point to a Creator God. If these were not enough, there is also evidence of God in our own hearts. Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us, ''He has also set eternity in the hearts of men.' Deep within us is the recognition that there is something beyond this life and someone beyond this world. We can deny this knowledge intellectually, but God's presence in us and all around us is still obvious. Despite this, the Bible warns that some will still deny God's existence: 'The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God'' (Psalm 14:1). Since the vast majority of people throughout history, in all cultures, in all civilizations, and on all continents believe in the existence of some kind of God, there must be something (or someone) causing this belief.

In addition to the biblical arguments for God's existence, there are logical arguments. First, there is the ontological argument. The most popular form of the ontological argument uses the concept of God to prove God's existence. It begins with the definition of God as 'a being than which no greater can be conceived.' It is then argued that to exist is greater than to not exist, and therefore the greatest conceivable being must exist. If God did not exist, then God would not be the greatest conceivable being, and that would contradict the very definition of God.

A second argument is a teleological argument. The teleological argument states that since the universe displays such an amazing design, there must have been a divine Designer. For example, if the Earth were significantly closer or farther away from the sun, it would not be capable of supporting much of the life it currently does. If the elements in our atmosphere were even a few percentage points different, nearly every living thing on earth would die. The odds of a single protein molecule forming by chance is 1 in 10243 (that is a 1 followed by 243 zeros). A single cell is comprised of millions of protein molecules.

A third logical argument for God's existence is called the cosmological argument. Every effect must have a cause. This universe and everything in it is an effect. There must be something that caused everything to come into existence. Ultimately, there must be something 'un-caused' in order to cause everything else to come into existence. That 'un-caused' cause is God.

A fourth argument is known as the moral argument. Every culture throughout history has had some form of law. Everyone has a sense of right and wrong. Murder, lying, stealing, and immorality are almost universally rejected. Where did this sense of right and wrong come from if not from a holy God?

Despite all of this, the Bible tells us that people will reject the clear and undeniable knowledge of God and believe a lie instead. Romans 1:25 declares, 'They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator'who is forever praised. Amen.' The Bible also proclaims that people are without excuse for not believing in God: 'For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities his eternal power and divine nature'have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse' (Romans 1:20).

People claim to reject God's existence because it is 'not scientific' or 'because there is no proof.' The true reason is that once they admit that there is a God, they also must realize that they are responsible to God and in need of forgiveness from Him (Romans 3:23, 6:23). If God exists, then we are accountable to Him for our actions. If God does not exist, then we can do whatever we want without having to worry about God judging us. That is why many of those who deny the existence of God cling strongly to the theory of naturalistic evolution gives them an alternative to believing in a Creator God. God exists and ultimately everyone knows that He exists. The very fact that some attempt so aggressively to disprove His existence is, in fact, an argument for His existence.

How do we know God exists? As Christians, we know God exists because we speak to Him every day. We do not audibly hear Him speaking to us, but we sense His presence, we feel His leading, we know His love, we desire His grace. Things have occurred in our lives that have no possible explanation other than God. God has so miraculously saved us and changed our lives that we cannot help but acknowledge and praise His existence. None of these arguments can persuade anyone who refuses to acknowledge what is already obvious. In the end, God's existence must be accepted by faith (Hebrews 11:6). Faith in God is not a blind leap into the dark; it is a safe step into a well-lit room.

Roman Catholic Church and The Holy Trinity

The Roman Catholic Church and most Protestants do describe the RCC as trinitarian, but the Trinity is very different. The way the RCC presents Jesus in the Eucharist, He is almost unrecognizable as being both human and divine. 
Their teachings about Mary appear to make her a part of the Trinity making it a quaternity, Father, Son, Holy Spirit and Mary. Mary is being elevated to the status of God in the RCC. They say this is just adoration for her which they say is only due to God. When put into practice it is the same as worshipping God. The works attributed to Mary are the same as the works of Christ, salvation from sin, redemption, and mediation. She ascended into heaven bodily and returned to earth bodily on several different occasions. Many miracles like Jesus performed have been attributed to her by the RCC.
The RCC teaching about the sacramental system controls as well as diminishes the work of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit are not communicated to us when and where God chooses, but are transferred through oil in the sacrament of confirmation. The cleansing of sin is not given through faith, but only by the Holy water used in the sacrament of baptism.
We may be using the same word, but the meanings are totally different.

                    The interior of the earth fits the description of Hell because it is hot there (Luke 16:22-24; Jude 1:7; Deuteronomy 32:22; Psalm 86:12-13). It is possible that Hell is someplace else down it is also possible it is at the center of the earth.

The interior of the earth also fits because it is dark there (Jude 1:12,13; Jude 1:6; 2 Peter 2:4; 2 Peter 2:12-17;

The interior of earth fits the description because it is described as a lake. The earth is a molten lake of lava down there. The description fits perfectly with the hot, dark lake of fire (Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10; Revelation 20:14-15).

Isaiah 5:14 speaks about Hell enlarging herself. There is a discussion among the scientists of whether the earth is expanding. Some of these scientists say that in the oceans, the new volcanic material keeps being added along the fault lines in the crust expanding it a little bit at a time. I do realize that much of what is called science is not true at all. In 1 Timothy 6:20-21 says to avoid vain and profane babblings and oppositions of science falsely called: which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

It is interesting that just before the Lord destroys this old earth and makes a new one, He is going to resurrect everyone out of hell, and then cast them into the lake of fire (Revelation 20: 11-21:1).

This is an interesting question but this question should not be consuming our time. The fact is hell is real and the majority of people are going there (Matthew 7:13-14) 

What are the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church that distinguish it from other Christian churches? Whole books have been written on this subject, but a sampling of the doctrines will be outlined here.

Roman Catholicism The bishops, with the pope as their head, rule the universal Church. God has entrusted revelation to the bishops. The pope is infallible in his teaching. Scripture and Tradition together are the Word of God. Mary is the co-redeemer, for she participated with Christ in the painful act of redemption. Mary is the co-mediator, to whom we can entrust all our cares and petitions. Initial justification is by means of baptism. Adults must prepare for justification through faith and good works. Grace is merited by good works. Salvation is attained by cooperating with grace through faith, good works, and participation in the sacraments. No one can know if he will attain to eternal life. The Roman Catholic Church is necessary for salvation. Christ's body and blood exist wholly and entirely in every fragment of consecrated bread and wine in every Roman Catholic church around the world. The sacrifice of the cross is perpetuated in the sacrifice of the Mass. Each sacrifice of the Mass appeases God's wrath against sin. The sacrificial work of redemption is continually carried out through the sacrifice of the Mass.

Biblical Teaching Christ, the head of the body, rules the universal church (Colossians 1:18). God has entrusted revelation to the saints (Jude 3). God alone is infallible (Numbers 23:19; Acts 17:11). Scripture alone is the Word of God (John 10:35; 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21; Mark 7:1-13). Christ alone is the Redeemer, for He alone suffered and died for sin (1 Peter 1:18,19). Christ Jesus is the one mediator to whom we can entrust all our cares and petitions (1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:13,14; 1 Peter 5:7). Justification is by faith alone (Romans 3:28). God justifies ungodly sinners who believe (Romans 4:5). Good works are the result of salvation, not the cause (Ephesians 2:8-10). Grace is a free gift (Romans 11:6). Salvation is attained by grace through faith apart from works (Ephesians 2:10). The believer can know that he has eternal life by the Word of God and the testimony of the Holy Spirit who indwells believers (1 John 5:13; Romans 8:16). There is salvation in no one but the Lord Jesus Christ, “for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The bread and wine are symbols of the body and blood of Christ, and He is bodily present in heaven (1 Corinthians 11:23-25; Hebrews 10:12,13). The sacrifice of the cross is finished (John 19:30). The once-for-all sacrifice of the cross fully appeased God's wrath against sin (Hebrews 10:12-18). The sacrificial work of redemption was finished when Christ gave His life for us on the cross (Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 1:3).

These doctrines don’t date back all the way to Constantine, except for perhaps in seed form, but were slowly adopted over many years as various popes issued decrees. In many cases, the doctrines are not even based on Scripture but on a document of the church. Most Roman Catholics consider themselves to be Christians and are unaware of the differences between their beliefs and the Bible. Sadly, the Roman Catholic Church has fostered that ignorance by discouraging the personal study of the Bible and making the people reliant on the priests for their understanding of the Bible.

The brazen serpent”: Hezekiah broke the Nehushtan into pieces i.e., the bronze snake made by Moses in the wilderness (see notes on Numbers 21;4-9). Because Judah had come to worship it as an idol, perhaps influenced by Canaanite religion, which regarded snakes as fertility symbols. It had remained a symbol of deliverance. However, it had become a source of spiritual confusion and idolatrous worship, possibly associated with the worship of Asherah. Therefore, it had to be destroyed.

The “bronze serpent” was a statue Moses erected to save the Israelites from deadly biting snakes (Num. 21:5-9). According to Jesus, it pictured how he would be lifted up on the cross (John 3:14-15). Over time, however, it had become an object of worship called the “Nehushtan (a word that sounds like the Hebrew words for both bronze and snake).

Shoes in Church

I showered and shaved................ I adjusted my tie.

I got there and sat................ In a pew just in time.

Bowing my head in prayer............ As I closed my eyes.

I saw the shoe of the man next to me....... Touching my own. I sighed.

With plenty of room on either side......... I thought, 'Why must our soles touch?'

It bothered me, his shoe touching mine.. But it didn't bother him much.

A prayer began: 'Our Father'............. I thought,
'This man with the shoes, has no pride. They’re dusty, worn, and scratched.
Even worse, there are holes on the side!'

'Thank You for blessings,' the prayer went on.

The shoe man said................. A quiet 'Amen.'

I tried to focus on the prayer....... But my thoughts were on his shoes again..

Aren't we supposed to look our best. When walking through that door?

'Well, this certainly isn't it,' I thought, glancing toward the floor.

Then the prayer was ended............ And the songs of praise began .

The shoe man was certainly loud..... Sounding proud as he sang.

His voice lifted the rafters........ His hands were raised high.

The Lord could surely hear.. The shoe man's voice from the sky.

It was time for the offering........ And what I threw in was steep.

I watched as the shoe man reached.... Into his pockets so deep.

The sermon really bored me.......... To tears, and that's no lie.

So after the closing prayer........ I reached over and shook his hand.
