The merciful

The most fundamental aspect in our relationship with God is mercy. We only have a relationship with God because of His tremendous mercy. Without it we are estranged from it.
We received it and we are to show it to others. Those who refuse it receive God's judgement. The ruthless, cruel, inhumane and purely evil do not show mercy to others. They live in open rebellion against God and will not receive mercy from God in the end.

Pilgrims

After sixty-six days at sea, the Mayflower arrived with 102 passengers at Cape Cod, Massachusetts on November 9, 1620. They had intended to land in Virginia, but poor weather and poor navigation led them slightly off course. These first “pilgrims” were a mix of business traders and those escaping the jurisdiction of the Church of England. They may have brought with them the Geneva Bible—the Bible popular among English Protestants.
Many “pilgrims” were from a sect known as Separatists. Their desire was to form independent congregations strictly following their interpretation of the Bible. Their action was prompted by 2 Corinthians 6:16–18 in the Geneva Bible translation, including verse 17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and separate yourselves . . .

Thomas Sowell: Why i DOUBT Climate Change

Dictatorship

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a
permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until
the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from
the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for
the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury,
with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose
fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorshi P."

This is exactly what is happening in the Philippine Islands now.  First martial was declared by president Duterte for 2 months. According to the Cunstitution that is the most martial law can be declared. But Duterte has extended it to six months. He now wants to declare martial law through out the whole Philippines. He said it was to stop terrorist's. Martial law has never been done this before on such a wide scale since Ferdinand Marcos in the79's. The terrorist problem could be stopped without martial law. Duterte knows this.He is ready to take over this Republic and turn it into a his own little fifedom. The people of the Philippines are hopelessly devoid of understanding what he is all about.

The End of the Matter

The End of the Matter

The collapse of parenting

“The main mechanisms by which contemporary American culture today asserts its primacy in the hearts of American kids are the Internet and the mobile phone. Neither of these existed in the lives of American kids 25 years ago. But today, it’s common to see an American 4-year-old playing with an iPad, complete with Internet access. That’s particularly true in affluent communities. And it’s becoming common to see an American 9-year-old with her own cell phone—again, especially in affluent communities.
The more time that 9-year-old spends connecting with her friends, the more likely she is to look to them for guidance about what matters and what doesn’t.
That’s one reason why your daughter may come to value her friends’ opinions over yours. Her friends seem to know more about important things than you do. And the more time she spends on Instagram, the more likely she is to think that knowing about Instagram is important.”

the need for god

“Because they [the left] cannot talk about a morality they no longer recognize or the need for a God they long ago rejected, they are forced to insist more laws will solve problems. When God is traded in for government, prayer gets traded in for law. The more laws there are, the better off we will be because government is our god now.
"The left is incapable of solving the problems of racism and mass violence in this country because the only solution they have is more government. And more government just means more sinners in charge and more sinners          is never the answer to any problem. But a left that rejects the notion of sin and human depravity is incapable of understanding that and instead lives in a self-created fantasy land where we are born gay or straight, but can [later] decide to become boys or girls. People who believe such nonsense will never be able to substantively deal with the horrors of our age.”
