What next
Suppose all the confederate statues are removed. The question after that is, what is next? What else is on their bucket list? Cannons in historical parks? Pictures of confederates on government property? Just wondering where this will go. Will they move from one war to the next? WW1? WW2? Korea? Vietnam? Others I didn't mention? Where does it end? The Statue of Liberty? Will they hook a rope onto it and pull it down? Kind of reminds me of the 1968 movie, "The Planet of the Apes" when Charlton Heston saw the Statue of Liberty half buried in the sand. Perhaps the end of all this will only come when America comes to an end.

Prosperity Gospel
Prosperity Gospel teaches that if you just have enough faith, you will be healthy and rich. If this is true, then apostle Paul had no or had weak faith for he got sick and was not healed, did not become rich and was beheaded in the end by emperor Nero. Not only apostle Paul but the rest of the apostles have had no faith in God for they all died poor and suffered great distress and died brutal deaths.
Prosperity Gospel also teaches that if a Christian is still sick or poor even after sometime after his conversion, he may be hiding some unconfessed sins from God. This is a brutal doctrine for the genuine Christians who know deep inside that they are obeying God in the best way they can but still suffer from incurable sicknesses. The result of this teaching is doubting one's salvation and relationship with God.
Prosperity Gospel believers always blame Satan when they experience trials and hardships. They can't accept (and fight) the doctrine of God's absolute control of things, events and entities including Satan. They discourage mentioning of negative topics such as death (or preparation for it), bad experiences and of course sickness and poverty. They teach that the tongue has power (not God) to shape one's destiny and so they claim and name what they want making God a slave of their whims and wishes.
Prosperity Gospel is very attractive for people naturally want to live a good life free from sorrow and pain. But this view of the Gospel is in total opposition of Christ's teaching to His disciples, "Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). Jesus did not promise a "good life" to all who follow Him. Apostle Paul taught this principle to Timothy, "In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" (2 Tim. 3:12).

Unstable world
In case you haven't noticed, the world is getting increasingly unstable. If you know that you're a sinner and need God's forgiveness, call on the name of Jesus and He will forgive you and give you eternal life.
(John 3:16-18)

Sex
God is not disgusted by sex. He ordained sex (Genesis 1:28). When a Christian man and woman get married they are joined in together in mind, spirit and body (Mark 10:6-8). The two become one. The most intimate knowledge in marriage comes about through these things in a Christian marriage. Christians can have a more stimulating sex life because Non-Christians cannot be joined together in the spirit. Men and women should offer their bodies to each other in marriage and should not deny each other except for a short time of fasting (1 Corinthians 7:5).
God made humans sexual beings. He made our nervous system capable of receiving pleasure during sex. Sex in marriage is good,holy and ordained of God.

Satan
It is a reality that we have an enemy that is prowling around like a lion who would like to harm us. We do not have to be fearful or paranoid about this, but it is helpful to be aware of his opposition. In this promise found in Isaiah, God makes the promise that no weapon that is formed against us by any enemy will prosper. He goes on to say that every tongue that judges us will be condemned. It is encouraging to be reminded that God is on our side and He is fighting for us. No matter what or who opposes us, our Father promises to be with us through every storm and protect us by His great power. This is the heritage of the Lord. This is our birthright! ...To live under the protection of the Most High (Psalm 91).
I realize that this does not mean that we are completely insulated from trials in life. Jesus said in John 16:33 that as long as we are in this world, we will experience trouble. Praise God though that Jesus has overcome the world! When I think of any opposing forces that are against me, whether they are earthly or demonic, I take great comfort in this promise from my Father... No weapon that has been created for my harm will succeed against me! That is my inheritance and it is your inheritance too!
