Doubt
Has satan ever caused you to doubt your relationship with God?
Satan also attempts to encourage you to doubt your personal relationship with God. The devil says;
” Are you really saved? If you were really saved you wouldn’t have these doubts.
Do you really have an eternal home in heaven? Are you sure that if you die today you”ll go to heaven?
If you are really secure in Christ, then why do you feel so insecure?
Surely a secure person wouldn’t doubt
Question and statements such as these are aimed at one goal: to get you to wonder if you really are saved and that your identity is in Christ. Again a key message of the New Testament is Christ is in me and I am in Christ. The devil will do his utmost to test that central truth of your relationship with Christ Jesus.
When Jesus was baptized,he experienced a strong affirmation from heaven. The bible tells us the heaven were opened the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus in physical manifestation as if a dove was descending upon him and enveloping him and then a voice from heaven said, you are my beloved son in you I am well pleased.
See ( Luke 3:21-22)

Immediately after this experience the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to a time of fasting and prayer and temptation by the devil. What were the first seven words out of satan’s mouth? If you are the son of God.”
The devil came at Jesus with a question that had a built in kernel of doubt.
If he could get Jesus to question who he was he might get Jesus to question everything else he believed and sought to do. The devil comes at you with the same tactic. He tries to get you to question your relationship with ChristJesus. And to do this the devil seems to tell three main lies:

Lie #1: saved people don’t sin. Furthermore, they don’t have any desire to sin and they aren’t tempted. The truth is that saved people do sin from time to time. They still are human and live in fleshly bodies with natural desires. Every person is tempted.
Lie #2: some sins are beyond forgiveness-either because the sins are so great in magnitude or because they are repeated so often.
God’s word tells us that when we confess our sins to God he is faithful in forgiving our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness (see 1st john 1:9) God’ mercy and patience with us are beyond measure.

Lie #3: God get’s weary of people who sin and repent repeatedly and eventually stops forgiving their sins
The truth is that God may chastise us and discipline us when we develop a habit of sinning but God dose not abandon us or cease to forgive us. He continues to prod us toward the way of righteousness so that we will make right choices and reap Godly rewards. Some of the most miserable people I know have been saved by the grace of God but have begun to buy in to these lies and doubt their salvation.
Don’t get caught by the devils lies when you have Gods
Word. No excuse read John

Jesus
"Due to the increasing propagation of error in our day, I think it is time this was said:
"The love of Jesus" is a beautiful phrase that has been hijacked of late by a world who doesn’t know Him at all. For those who are not students of scripture, the idea of Jesus has become synonymous with a limp-wristed, lamb-wearing, flower-weaving hippie who believes in free love and universal salvation.
"This caricature is so opposite the real Jesus that it is blasphemous. Unfortunately, some of the most famous names teaching today help propagate a twisted understanding of a Jesus who never existed. This fantasy “Jesus” is wildly popular, because He is moldable, weak, and accepting of anything we want to do. He’s become a Jesus Action Figure, who can be posed in whatever position we like best.
"However, a careful reading of the four Gospels reveals another story. They give us glimpses of a God-man that no one understood, and His determined march toward the cross. The Jesus of scripture was the long-awaited Lion of Judah, who threw aside His royal robes to stomp Satan’s head and set prisoners free. The real Jesus was brutally honest with saint and sinner alike. He was painfully direct with those who needed it, yet went after the downtrodden and offered hope. He forgave anyone who asked, but then commanded them to stop sinning or something worse would happen. He shot down the self-righteous with well-placed zingers, and was not above name-calling when the situation demanded it. He rebuked His closest friends when they tried to get in the way of God’s plan for Him, and then made a point of forgiving them anyway.
"When potential followers offered reasonable excuses, He let them walk away before He would compromise the truth. Status, wealth or threat could not alter His message: “I’ve come to give you real life, so repent and follow me.” When His popularity was at its peak, rather than capitalize on it, He turned to the crowd with a, “Really? You think you want to follow me? You’ll have to love me more than anything, deny yourself, and take up your cross every day.” He watched them slink away, already knowing that they only wanted His blessings, not Himself. Kind of like today.
"Sadly the phrase “the love of Jesus” has become confused with passivity and silence, neither of which ever characterized the Son of God who will one day judge the world. The only time He remained silent was when He chose to go to the cross. His message had been delivered; there was nothing left to say. His actions would be the final punctuation on His life’s message.
"God’s desire for every human being is to model the love of Jesus, but not a world-tainted redefinition of it. Before we can effectively love like Jesus did, we have to know Him. We have to check our own distorted perceptions of who He is, and make certain we are worshiping the real God. Anything else is idolatry, and any version of “love” that stems from it is not real love at all."

Homosexual
The Homosexual "Christian."
Matthew Vines refers to himself as a homosexual Christian. I took the time to watch one of his videos when I was doing research for “Audacity.” He was teaching in a traditional church setting, expounding different Bible verses that talked about homosexuality. He’s a gentle and likeable person.
One by one Matthew dismantled the arguments from the Bible that are often leveled at homosexuals. If I remember rightly, he spoke about eating shellfish and homosexuality both being called an “abomination,” concluding that they are both therefore not serious.
He said that Sodom was judged because it was inhospitable rather than guilty of the sin of sodomy. It was because of Matthew’s influence that our movie “Audacity” contains one of the most powerful discourses in the movie, where some of these questions were addressed.

Matthew was recently featured on the Religious News Service where he listed “40 questions for Christians who oppose marriage equality.”
However, he showed his hand when he asked, “Did you spend any time studying the Bible’s verses on the topic before you felt comfortable believing that the earth revolves around the sun?” The Bible often speaks of the sun moving across the sky and rising and setting. That is supposedly a mistake, because we now know that the earth revolves around the sun.
Even though we know that the sun stands still, the whole world still says that it moves across the sky and rises and sets each day. It’s a ridiculous argument that atheists often use to try and discredit scripture.
But this reveals why (when he argues for homosexual marriage) he uses emotional arguments rather than pointing to the authority of the Bible. Any time he does quote scripture, it’s Paul’s rather than God’s Word—as scripture claims it to be: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” (2 Timothy 3:16).
God’s Word warns: “Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves…will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
Notice that the word “idolaters” is strangely sitting among the sexual sins of fornication, adultery and homosexuality. “Idolatry” is the sin of making up your own god, and it’s a violation of the First and the Second of the Ten Commandments. We gravitate towards idolatry like moths to a flame, because it means we can snuggle up to a god who doesn’t mind the sins of fornication, adultery or homosexuality.

Matthew would do well to take notice that the verses begin with “Do not be deceived.” There’s a reason for that. We mustn’t be deceived of the fact that fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals and thieves will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Or to put it more soberly, they will end up in a terrible place called “Hell.” That’s something I wouldn’t want to happen to my worst enemy.
So let’s summarize. There is no such thing as a fornicator Christian, an adulterer Christian, a homosexual Christian, or a thieving Christian. Those who call themselves Christians but continue to cling to their beloved sins will see their great deception on Judgment Day.

Neither can two homosexuals enter into the covenant marriage relationship before God--which the Bible defines as being between one man and one woman. Homosexuals have a legalized union between two people of the same sex, but they are not married. Redefining the word is like redefining my VW Beetle as a Lamborghini. It may be a pleasant thought, but I’m only deceiving myself. -- Ray Comfort

Pride
Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." When the president of the United States of America cast those rainbow colors on the White House after the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, that was a direct insult to God Almighty. He doesn't know the gravity of what has happened and the consequences that will follow.
Soldiers
“It is the Soldier, not the ministerWho has given us freedom of religion.
It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.
It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.”

1987- PRESENT
Commenter: "I've been listening to the "our culture is crumbling all around us" fear since 1967 when my dad walked in on my watching some clip of Jimi Hendrix setting his guitar on fire. The fear gets trotted out regularly each decade following some culture shift or another. Whether one agrees with this Court decision or not, it won't change the things in the world that truly keep me up at night in prayer."
Response: "Well since that moment, 50 million children have been legally slaughtered, the divorce rate has skyrocketed, fatherless homes have become endemic, religious affiliation has dropped precipitously, secularism has taken over, pornography became a billion dollar industry, the distinction between male and female has been obliterated, drug use, depression, and sexual diseases have all become epidemics, and now marriage has been changed to accommodate homosexuals. But, yeah, all those people were totally overreacting. Everything is fine. You're right." -- Matt Walsh
