Wisdom is justified of all her children
I think you might be referring to Luke 7:35 where it says "wisdom is justified of all her children". This means true wisdom is vindicated by what it produces ( James 2:14-17). Works will not save you, but you will have good works if you are saved.
Matthew 11:19 says the same. They were criticising John the Baptist for denying himself things and said he had a devil. Jesus came eating and drinking and He was called gluttonous and a winebibber (basically they were calling Him a drunk) a friend of publicans and sinners. Scripture indicates they did not understand because they had scales over their eyes (they did not want to understand).
The only kind of wisdom we can understand is the wisdom that Christ gives us.
Nahash was king of the Ammonites, the descendants of Lot (Genesis 19:36-38) who lived east of Jordan. Nahash means snake. Nahash was an evil man.
The inhabitants of Jabesh-Gibeah, a city in the land of the half-tribe of Manasseh on the east side of the Jordan River, were exposed to great danger from this man. They sent men to Gibeah to inform Saul, the newly anointed king of Israel, of their problem. Gibeah was Saul 's hometown and the first capital city of Israel. It was about 3 miles north of Jerusalem. Saul promptly responded to their call, gathering together an army of about 330,000 men to march against Nahash. Saul won the battle over the Ammonites (1 Samuel 11:1-11).

Caleb
Caleb was not a full-blooded Israelite. His father was Jephunneh. Jephunneh was a Kenizzite (Numbers 13:6; 14:30). The Kenizzites were one of the tribes driven from Cannan. Somehow Caleb and his family ended up in Egypt with the Israelites becoming part of the community. Caleb came to understand the history of God's people and fell in love with God and devoted his life to them.
